NCSEteach: an important resource for teachers

There’s a teacher support network that assists educators navigate the sometimes tricky task of helping students understand evolution and climate change. It’s called NCSEteach, offered by the National Center for Science Education. I invite you to check out what the program offers.

There’s a wonderful Dealing with Denial webpage with lots of helpful links. There’s even more links at the Classroom Resources page. And a relatively new program called Scientist in the Classroom connects teachers and students with working scientists.

I bring it up now because the latest edition of Reports of the National Center for Science Education features the Teacher Advisory Board members, who help NCSE with this valuable resource. And, yes, I’m one of the board members.
